I’ve recently moved to that Central Florida community and I can think of no better way to learn about my adopted hometown than to share it with you. The region around I-4 is one of the fastest growing in Florida. Metro I-4 News is a site dedicated to bringing together the best hyperlocal blogging from the corridor. The goal is to have a good mix of blogs from around the region, and around the political spectrum. In addition, we publish links to main stream media articles of interest. What you won’t see is a lot of widgets, doodads, and geegaws. MI4 will stay focused on the text.

Doc Savage

As a teenager I read the adventures of a hero. The novels appealed to me though they had been written for teenagers living in the 1930s.

Maybe that explains something.

Doc Savage Organized, Doc Savage Information, and Lester Dent Museum are the result.

Jeffrey is my very favorite clown. They don’t like him in Montreal or Miami though.

They also cleverly use photos from Flickr users to illustrate their maps. They chose this one of mine for La Foule Illuminee (The Illuminated Crowd) in downtown Montreal.
